THE HEBREW-ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE ELIJAH STORY

Synopsis

This book is a token contribution to my students in particular and the larger society in the pursuit of scholarship in biblical languages. It originated from my studies in Biblical Hebrew during my Master’s program at Cincinnati Christian University, OH, USA. The objective is to help students of biblical Hebrew to have a fundamental understanding of some of the issues that are involved in the studies of the course. The book is to arm students with a simplified method of laying bare the elements of Hebrew sentences in order to facilitate their translation and re-organization into meaningful English sentences. Some important issues have been raised subsequently to guide the work involved in the translation.
